Default A Few New Skills for the 6 Core Classes

I got this off of Feb 2006 CGW magazine.

I don't know if this is posted but it is interesting.

Ele:

Arc Lightning - Direct damage spell that bounces to a second foe if the initial target happens to be hexed w/ water magic.

Churning Earth - Deals prolonged area of effect damage and knocks down foes who are equipped w/ speed enhancing buffs.

Ride the Lightning - An elite skill that damages your target and teleports you directly to him.

Mesmer:

Overload - An incantation that deals extra damage if its target is in the middle of casting a spell.

Illusion of Pain - Thix hex causes massive health degeneration but heals your oppenents when it ends, making it well suited as a finishing move.

SIgnet of Disruption - This signet can interrupt spells or if cast it on a foe that's already hexed, it can interrupt other types of skills as well.

Monk:

Empathic Removal - Removes one hex and one status from both you and a single foe.

Word of Censure - Powerful smiting spell with a recharge rate dependent upon your target's health level.

Gift of Health - Powerful health replinishing spell that disables rest of your healing skills, and can't be used on yourself.

Necro:

Gaze of Contempt - Removes all of your target's enchantments, provided he has more than half his health.

Jaundiced Gaze - Sacrifice your own health either to deal damage to or steal health from your opponent, depending on wheter he has more health than you.

Flesh Golem - This elite skills conjures an animated minion that leaves a corpse upon death, allowing you to reanimate it.

Ranger:

Heal as One - Healing skill that affects both you and your pet.

Brambles - Nature ritual that caues extra damage and bleeding to an opponent who is already knocked down.

Broad Head Arrows - This elite skill dazes your target upon successful hit.

Warrior:

Sun & Moon Slash - First blow of this 2-hit sword skill is completely unblockable.

Protector's Stance - As long as you don't move you can block damage for your allies.

"Coward" - Shout. This attack sends a fleeing enemy for a dirt nap.

thats it

I think the Sun & Moon Slash's first attack is unblockable and the second is unevadable. Read that somewhere.

MARTYR/RC MONK FTW!

Yes there seems to be a lot of "daze" enducing skills in Factions.

Dirt nap skill one sounds funky. Coward to nap, makes no sense. Plus the description of the skill.

So let me get this straight, Coward = a Knockdown shout? Hopefully it isn't adrenaline based because I can simply see that being spammed.. Furious + Battle rage

Uh, guys "Dirt Nap" is a euphanism for Death.

I suspect the Coward Shout will do massive damage to a fleeing enemy...

but we'll just have to wait and see.

I myself am curious about Brambles (Ranger Spirit that does damage to knockdowned opponents). There could be some nice combos there...

Of course we need to see the energy or adren costs and the recharge... but Ride the lighting... if its not too costly it could be the next Warrior/Ele teleport-beating.
Imagine 3-4 warriors/asessins teleporting to your team monk directly..... ejem... nice find... probably i wont be gettin any sleep tonite

Ride the lightning -> uber unpredictable adrenaline spike
Gaze of Contempt -> Mighty strip prior to ranger/adrenaline spike
Broad Head Arrows -> Try finding one ranger not running this one if recharge is decent, also helps a lot in spiking as infuse will be .25 secs slower
Sun & Moon Slash -> Avoids stances while being adrenaline spiked (assume it will provide some damage bonus as well)

Am I the only one who starts seeing 4-5 warrior teams adreanline spiking with ride the lightning while the ranger/necro dazes a possible infuser/boon prot and subsequently strips all defensive buffs from the target on call? Can even fit in "coward" to provide a KD (assuming it KD's) in case the defense becomes a bit more mobillity based...

"Coward" is going to be just as required in 4v4 arenas ad a rez sig, I can see that happening.

But hey! Death to the runners!

(You can not report runners, but they are usauly the kind of people that are easily irritated. That means, you can piss them off without crossing the line and report them for offensive language *Ehehehe*)

Something about the way the skill descriptions are worded does not sound like official ANet skills.

"Coward" is hilarious. It sounds a ton like a silly skill I suggested called "Chicken Shiat!" that basically frozen a fleeing opponent. Wow...if that's true, it would almost eliminate kiting.
